RCMC Media & Literature Ministry

When was the last time you visited our church library or website? Do you know that we have a Facebook page? 

In the past, I was quick to assume that the Committee on Media & Literature was just confined to the library and the annual publication. 

Now, I realise that we also handle the website, computer hardware & software, stationery, and assist the other Committees with their communications and publicity. 

We are currently in the process of revamping and refining the website - which includes the CMCNZ website. Next, we will turn our focus to the library, making it a conducive place to read, reflect, and borrow books via a self-checkout system. Following that, we will recruit and train contributors for the website - roles include uploading sermon recordings and updating church news. 

In the meantime, we are working with the Committee on Missions & Evangelism with their publicity material, as well as getting the Annual Publication ready for distribution (it is currently in the “translation” phase). We are also encouraging everyone to use the e-newsletter on Sunday (via QR code). 

Hopefully, this has piqued your curiosity, and maybe sparked an enthusiasm to get involved. 

Skills can be taught. We are looking for interest and willingness.
