Christian Education

Our church theme this year is “Pray to Connect, Equip to Serve” for 2019-2020. Therefore, Christian Education has plan according to the theme. We are focusing on prayer, equipping our spiritual relationship with God and to serve others. 

This year Christian Education has done the Spiritual thermometer survey. These surveys will help us to identify the needs of our brothers and sisters. Also, to provide a good platform for our members of the church to learn and grow in Christ. Besides, learning the words of God, we also arrange for a wonderful fun time with one another. 

This year we started our Discipleship 1 class based on (Discipleship New 2:7 se-ries). We hope it will be a learning process and a journey to draw closer to God. Besides that, we also organize a combined church prayer night and the attend-ance was overwhelming. Our desire to communicate with God, to pray for oth-ers and to share with others is an everyday connection with the Lord for us to reflect on it. 

We also plan for church wide annual bible quiz which will be held next month. We encourage the members of the church to come and have fun to learn the words of God together. Furthermore, we will also arrange for a sharing night with the youths, parents and church members to understand the importance of devotional time. 

Next year, Christian Education will plan for organizing the Bible studies leader’s training. This training is to help the leaders to equip themselves as a valuable vessel in doing God’s ministry, knowing the principles and responsibilities as a leader. After that, we look forward to have a better under-standing in choosing the bible studies material together as mentioned in Prov-erbs 1:7 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and discipline. 

Also, would like to introduce the spiritual prayer partners’ program in the church so that we are able to encourage one another in reading the church bible read-ing plan and praying for one another. 

Above all, we will also organize talks and workshop for us to prepare and equip ourselves better. Brothers and sisters, stay tune and look out for our promo-tions!
