Matthew's Experience in the YF
Matthew is 20 years old and the secretary of the current YF Committee.
I have learnt many things from youth group about what the Bible says, however, the one important thing I think is realizing that God is in it all. Here's one verse of God's promises which speaks to me:
"But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well." (Matt 6:33 NIV)
When you put God first in your life, you will see the blessings He gives you.
Fellowship with other Christians is important in your walk with Christ and should be taken seriously. In the world today, it is very easy to lose sight of what is important and how you should be living your life.
“Make every effort to enter through the narrow door, because many, I tell you, will try to enter and will not be able to..." (Luke 13:24)
In having fellowship with other Christians, we are able to help each other along the narrow path to the gate of life.
From my experience, fellowship is encouraging and it helps strengthen my faith as a follower of Christ.
At RCMC Youth fellowship you'll be able to grow in your faith with a welcoming bunch. We also have bible study, outings, activities, games and of course, food (almost every fellowship).
"Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me." (Rev 3:20)
