English Fellowship

We are brought together as God’s family to have fellowship with one another, to share, to learn and to pray together to experience God’s overflowing grace. English fellowship is not just about “being together”, it is also about “doing it together” and in partnership with Christ in fulfilling God’s will. Regular meetings are an essential element in a believer’s spiritual growth and development.

English Fellowship currently have the following activities:

Bible studies and home fellowships are important parts of our fellowship programmes as they provide us with opportunities to not only stay in touch with our church members, they also allow us to come together to learn God’s Word. It is only through God’s Word that we have the power to transform lives and have a new life in Christ Jesus.

In addition to our regular bible studies on Friday nights, we also have prayer meetings, led by Rev James. Prayer is the way in which we communicate and connect with God. Jeremiah 29:12, “you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you.” God promises us in His Word that He hears every word that we pray to Him. Whether we are seeking forgiveness, strength or healing, prayer provides the channel to communicate with God. Therefore, prayer meetings are an essential part of our English Fellowship as well as we get together to pray for each other and those around us.

Furthermore, we have regular men’s fellowship and ladies’ fellowship whereby brothers and sisters get together separately to connect socially.

Other activities and events throughout the year includes, our one day retreat, special talks, outreach to the children at RASNZ (Refugees as Survivors in New Zealand), and other festive events like Malaysian Night, Chinese New Year and Christmas celebrations to mention a few.

The definition of fellowship, either as a noun or a verb, demonstrates who we are. It allows us to interact with others who share common beliefs and sentiments. Let us continue to take the leap of faith to trust God in our daily walk with Him. What makes it even better is that we are able to do it together as a fellowship.

We would like to welcome you to join our English fellowship on Friday nights. Come along and experience what it means to be part of God’s family. Glory be to God on High!
